He came to a stop by one rather pretty little sapling of an evergreen tree that was almost completely suffocated by a mound of snow. "...Ah! Hold on little tree! I shall save you!" And he went to work pushing snow off its needle-covered branches so that it might have some room to breath.

I'm not sure you realized how hard it was to avoid talking to you for the past month, and even harder not to give away what was planned for the last couple days. I really hope you have the happiest birthday because you've been an incredible friend and I know how hard things have been for you. So I'll say it again, this time in proper English (I gotta admit I was typoing like crazy because I was on a ton of cough medicine last night)-- Happy Birthday!!! :3
