Are there any particular fandom's that
you'd like to see me draw characters from?
I've been drawing oodles of it lately,mostly the Pokemon variety. I know a lot of my watchers enjoyed my Sonic fan art, and I do have some sketches on the back-burner that I should maybe finish one of these days, but I was curious if there were other ones you'd like to see.
(Please don't say My Little Pony, I can't get past my '80s childhood to get into it. Haha~ >w<)
Let's talk about May, I guess? (tl;dr)
This month's gone by in a blur, it started with my dad's birthday, and more recently was Mother's Day. This weekend my mom and little sister (and her boyfriend) are taking a road trip to Florida to visit my grandparents. I am admittedly very, very jealous, haha. I haven't seen them in years! And I really do miss Florida, too. Not that I ever lived there before, but it's just this silly magical state where there's white beaches all over the place and it rains 60% of the time. Also geckos. GECKOS!
Earlier this month, probably two weeks back now, it rained pretty hard here. So hard in fact, it started hailing golf-ball sized chunks of ice at my house, and our cars. Every car has been repaired (even our old Japanese jalopy! What the heck!) except for mine. I think I might be able to take it in to the dealer's collision repair shop this weekend. I can't thank the people that have commissioned me enough, I wasn't expecting this and I really appreciate the extra cash!
I have started playing Skyrim, more than I expected I would. However, I've been a bit disappointed by the bland voice-acting (perhaps its a bit too era-accurate? And everyone spoke in a boring accent back in that age, I don't even know), so...I don't really follow the main plot at all. I do know that you're essentially supposed to kill a big dragon, so at least I've got that down. Who's civil warring with who, I don't know, haha.
I also started EV-training some Pokemon again in Black and White! It's amazing how terrible the stats of most of the Pokemon are in my game, haha. Maybe my cart is defective! All the Pokemon I got from trades have much higher IVs. Go figure. Currently trained a Boufalant that's so powerful he pretty much knocks himself out, and working on a little Larvitar right now that has shockingly high stats.
What's going on with the Arts?
Art wise, I'm working on a picture for the flower event at PKMC. It's nothing fancy, but I did finally draw up Bennet (and Spencer's) home. It's a little beach cottage with a crazy roof, I think you guys will like it. I'm thinking of adding a back or side porch, or something. I didn't realize it when I started sketching it, but homes have reached their maximum size in the group. So expect a livestream or two later this week.
